ALDERWOMAN VALENCIA M HALL WARD 1
Alderwoman Hall is a Natchez, Mississippi, native. Alderwoman Hall attended Holy Family and Cathedral Schools graduating from Cathedral in 1974. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Evansville, IN, and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Evansville. Alderwoman Hall received a Diploma in Nursing from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Mobile, Alabama. She has a Master of Pastoral Studies from Loyola University of New Orleans. Alderwoman Hall a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified School Counselor. Alderwoman Hall is a retired Registered Nurse from Merit Health-Natchez previously known as Jefferson Davis Memorial Hospital and Natchez Regional Medical Center, all of which Alderwoman Hall was employed as a Registered Nurse. Alderwoman Hall is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is retired from Concordia Parish School Board as a Behavioral Interventionist.
Alderwoman Hall has extensive leadership experience in Natchez and other cities and states. She has served on several boards and committees. During the 1980’s Alderwoman Hall served on the Board of Seton Health Corp in Evansville, IN; previously a subsidy of St. Mary’s Hospital which is now under the umbrella of Ascension Health (Vincentian Health) a Daughter of Charity Health System. Alderwoman Hall was a member of Leadership Evansville while living in Evansville, IN in the 1990’s. Alderwoman Hall developed Perinatal Advisory Boards across the Southern Third of IN when an employee of the Indiana Chapter of the March of Dimes in the 1990’s.
Alderwoman Hall has served on the Historic Natchez Foundation Board of Trustees, has served as Preservation Commissioner for the Natchez Preservation Commission, and is retired from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Board of Trustees. Alderwoman Hall is a founding member of the Two Mississippi Museums while a Trustee of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. She previously served as a members of Holy Family School Advisory Committee and Cathedral Unit Advisory Committee. Ms. Hall is an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and serves as Secretary of the Pastoral Council.
Ms. Hall will be a Leader for Natchez and a Voice for Ward 1.
